Fall/Winter 2025 - New Jersey Bride

There's something special about having known your spouse since you were just kids.

But few people can say that they met their person when they were in elementary school. That’s what happened to the couple in our cover story: School of Rock co-stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli.

When they were just 11 and 10 years old, respectively, they were cast in the movie. Years later, while studying at separate colleges in Florida, they reconnected. From there, their love bloomed.

“There was a familiarity having known each other from the movie,” says Angelo, “but at the same time, a lot of time had passed, and we were just totally new people at that point.” In January, more than 20 years after meeting, they tied the knot at the Park Château in East Brunswick.
