Fall/Winter 2024 - New Jersey Bride

Real life doesn’t stop for your big day, no matter how hard you may try to make things perfect. That lesson rings true in the interview with our cover story bride, radio personality Lulu. Less than three months before she was set to say “I do” at the Rockleigh, the 39-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shocked yet determined, Lulu was able to take care of her health and still have the wedding of her dreams.

It’s easy to get caught up in creating a vision of what your wedding should look like or comparing your nuptials to others on social media. But Lulu’s story can remind us all that being grateful for things like good health and great family and friends is what truly matters.
